The class is expanding its membership to all qualified military, PNP and civilian personalities aligned with the objective of the OCS Alumni Association. During the class special meeting held last 28 July 2009 at Makati City, the membership committee recommended for the adoption of CPT SHERWIN C MONTERON (CHS) PN which was unanimously approved by the whole class. The membership committee exerted all its effort in evaluating the integrity, reputation and credentials of the subject officer and was found all in order.
In behalf of the forty eight (48) strong members of OCS Class 21, we strongly recommend for the adoption of CPT SHERWIN C MONTERON (CHS) PA to be a member of OCS Alumni Association, Incorporated.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING CPT SHERWIN CAPEDING MONTERON (CHS) PN AS MEMBER OF OCS (MAPITAGAN) CLASS 21
Whereas the OCS CLASS 21 – MAPITAGAN is expanding its membership by reaching out to interested and qualified military, PNP and civilian personalities in order to achieve its objectives.
Whereas the committee on membership after careful evaluation has found the credentials of the above named officer in order.
Whereas the said committee has strongly recommended the adoption of the above named officer as member of OCS MAPITAGAN.
Now therefore, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved by the class during its special meeting held last 28 July 2008 at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City that the above named officer is hereby adopted as member of OCS CLASS 21 and inclusion in the membership roll of the class.

I am Rev. Fr. (CPT) SHERWIN C MONTERON, MOP, CHS (PN), A Catholic Priest belonging to the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines. I am now presently assigned at Naval Forces Northern Luzon as Command Chaplain and the PIO of the Command.
I am profoundly honored of your response regarding my adoption to Mapitagan Class 21-2001. This may not be enough to thank all of you for the effort you have done that i may belong as an adopted member of your class. I will be forever grateful for the acceptance you have shown through texts and emails. I would like to thank you all esp CPT RODNIE CORONADO (CE) PA, the Class President, CPT VICTORIANO GAMUETA (CE)PA, Class Vice- President, 1LT ADONIS BANEZ ( CAV) PA, the Chairman of the Membership Committee and who tirelessly draft my adoption papers, to CPT NOLI BINBINON (CAV) PA, Vice-President Membership Committee and all other officers and members of Mapitagan Class 21-2001.
Perhaps, I have met other members of the Mapitagan during their visit here at Poro Point, San Fernando City, La Union and others occasions where I was with my brother CPT DARWIN C MONTERON (CE) PA . As a Chaplain, it is my previledge to be a member of Mapitagan Class 21-2001.
